Bottled water is a great beverage of choice, but due to the way we dispose of them they create a negative impact on the environment. We all need to recycle our plastic bottles  because without a doubt plastic is causing an ever growing pollution problem.

I have listed 5 of the many reason why we should recycle plastic bottles:

* Most plastic bottles are not biodegradable.

* Plastic is the cause of death to many sea mammals, fish and birds.

* Plastic bottles can take up to 500 years to break down.

*Plastic bottle are made from nonrenewable sources such as crude oil so recycling  saves on nonrenewable fuels.

* Recycle plastic bottles and reduce solid waste going into landfills.

There you have it  the next time you have bottled water be responsible and recycle it, better still purchase one of the many Eco friendly water bottles on the market today.
